Each enquiry is ctsnsidered on its relative merits and not all applications are successful. The Trustees of the Sxiety take account ol the guidance from the Charity Commission on public benefit and believe that their method of promolion meet5 this guidance. Publlc benefit The purpose of the charity is to provide grant in¢ome lo support and promote the l(Kal rural community. The society has paid out over £1,000,000 lo date lo worthy causes.
