Our team of people with arnIng disabilities, the Happy Loppers, undertook 36 sessions invofwng 18 people nduding their support workers delivering 1,641 hours of voiunteer time, up from 1.520 hours in 2023124. Alongside the large stxle 'masterpE8n° developments in the north of the Forest, there was 80 an increase in smaller scale planning applications. In addibon, the new Government introduced a number of changes to the planning system which affect the Forest. in p8rtiraJlar the cxeation of a new category of land called 'grey beif designed lo fa¢ilTtate housi development in the Green Belt. The Trust commented on the proposals and we remain very concemed over their pokntial impact on the Forestwhith w8 wll continu8 to monitor.
