Thc Rotary Club raised £29.646 from donations, collections and fund- ruising evunts and incunrd expendilure of £6.764 in rdisin8 these monies. We were able lo hold our Christmas Collection, but this was partly limited by days available from the Supennarkets and we raised £8.392. We held our important fundraising Golf Day and raised a net surplus of £5.640. Our members donated a generous atnount of £2,445. During the year donations were made lowards local. counly and international charities. We supwyrted Rotary Iniernational's Charity Foundation with a donation of £1,731. We donated food tok¢ns at Christm&s for local needy amounting to £8.392. We were able to support the Ukraine Humanity Appeal with £l.OIXI. We were able this yeAr to organise five of our competitions for school children in the area. Charitsble expenditure amounted in total lo £21.978. Reserves Poli¢y The Unrestricted Fund balance is designed to be sufficient to deal with anticipated expenditure in the following year. Our plan is lo hold c&sh reserve5 of 8bout £30,000 at the year end. Our net income exceeded our expenditurc by £904 so our res¢rv¢s increased from £29,063 to £29,967. Wc scck to find ways to raise further funds and coniinue to supwrt our Community with our redu¢¢d membership. STRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT Governing Document The Charity was founded by Deed of Trust dated 14 Jun¢ 1977 and is an unin¢orFK>ratcd ch￿lty.
