Section C Objettives and actlvities Summary ofthe objects ofthe charity set out in its governing document: Education of the public in the arts and sciences, aiid in particular, the art and stience of choral music by the presentation of concerts and other activities. Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects: It has been an extremely husy 12 months, catching up with engagements postponed from, and delayed by, the Covid pandemlc. In all, WÈ sang at a total of thirty-six events. Some highlights included.. Taking part in the Cornwall International Male Voice Choir Festival, Ajoint concert with Nankersey Male Choir to raise funds for the Ukrainian Appeal Our Summer Festival Concert with Faryl Smith, and The Massed Cornish Choir concert trip to BriminEh8m Symphony Hall. We launched a new Christmas CD, "Merry Christmas One & All" in time for the festive period which has been re￿iVed well. Additionaldetallsof oblectives and We took part in a photo shoot and video for Country Living activities: magazine which is due for publication In December 2023. We are in the process of producing another CD of our regular repertoire for launch in 2023.

Section D Achievements and performance Summary of the main achievement of the charity during the year: The Committee continued to facil￿tate the return to practicing and performlng following the Ilfting of the Covid restrictions. As the year progressed, numbers began to rettirn to normal which, with the addition of new members. has seen the Choir's numbers increase to around eighty-five members. The return to some form of normality saw us performing more concerts in a year than most can remember. This resL¢lted in a great deal of fund-raising, not just for the Choirfs work in the community, but also for the Ukrainian Appeal1£4,5001. St. Pol-de-Leon Church (£9001 and the Solomon-BrownelUnion Star Appeal l£l,0001 to name a few. We achieved second place at the Cornwall International Male Voice Choir Festival, the largest in the world. and took place in concerts to support the festival, creating bonds with other Choirs which might prove fruitful in years to come. Our tour tD Birmingham wa5 arranged around the Massed Cornish Choir concert in Birmingham Symphony Hall but included a memorable concert with Kidderminster Choir on the preceding evening. All-in-all, it has been an extremely busy and successful year returning to normality and wh<]t we do best. We are looking forward to the year ahead with the excitetnent of a new CD and a tour to Wales to sing at a couple of concerts with tWD excellent Welsh Male Voice Choirs.

Brlef statement of the charity's policy on reserves: Cash at bank at 30-Nov-2022 was £29,258 in unrestricted funds. A proportion of this is money collected for choir tour5 and will need to be paid out when the tour takes place in 2023. Fur)ds are held to cover ongoing operational costs and when surplus funds are identified consideration is given to supporting organisations that seek our help or are identified as supporting our objectwes. I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of Mousehole Male Voice Choir for the year ended 30 November 2022, which are set out on pages 2 and 3.

Responsibilities and basis of report

As the charity’s trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).

I report in respect of my examination of the charity’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
