addition of new members. has seen the Choir's numbers increase
to around eighty-five members.
The return to some form of normality saw us performing more
concerts in a year than most can remember. This resL¢lted in a great
deal of fund-raising, not just for the Choirfs work in the community,
but also for the Ukrainian Appeal1£4,5001. St. Pol-de-Leon Church
(£9001 and the Solomon-BrownelUnion Star Appeal l£l,0001 to
name a few.
We achieved second place at the Cornwall International Male Voice
Choir Festival, the largest in the world. and took place in concerts
to support the festival, creating bonds with other Choirs which
might prove fruitful in years to come.
Our tour tD Birmingham wa5 arranged around the Massed Cornish
Choir concert in Birmingham Symphony Hall but included a
memorable concert with Kidderminster Choir on the preceding
evening.
All-in-all, it has been an extremely busy and successful year
returning to normality and wh<]t we do best. We are looking
