Perhaps aly)ve all he was a distioguished composer in his own righ( with a fiTII walogue of works in all gen￿ cT¢•ting a kgacy that will live on for as lon8 ￿ M￿91¢ is played. Ron's eontribution to The London Ch(Yus w&8 ¥ne￿lMab1e. hc inlKrited a choir of hi8h slond8rds and faulllessly maintsined them. When struck by illness IA in 21124 he chose to stand do￿ and become Conductor Emer11￿ returning to the and when he was Kll enou￿.
