Libby Jeremy Freeman, Lydia, Charlie Morton, Ollie Long, Apologies for lateness- Connor Meeting start 8..00 Mlnutss of tho last AGM agreed- Rory Wlld Thursday 11h September 2025 Chaimian's Report- Rory Wild Started year with lots of new member 48 members signed up. Wix's sporting nature conlinued for another good year coming first in lots of competitions and the boys making il to nationals for football. Also. reps Essex in Essex vs Norfolk where they won 8-0 Rory coming on in last 15 mins to never touch the ball. Well, done to the girls for stepping in for netball and for getting a team together for tug of war. Cricket as always was a success and great to see so many peop there and thank you to the subscriber for having a team. l am looking forward to next year. Annual Christmas tree sales we raised £1300 and also had a very sucSsful collection. We partnered with Clacton round table to do a door-to-door collection and received £500 donation. The biggest event was the ball in May where we raised nearly £2500, thank you to everyone who came it was great to see so many faces and lots of donations. Thanks to everyone who made the event a success. Tendering show in July was another amazing show and always a personal highlight for me. Thank you to tendering show for giving us a marquee hosting a subscribers bar and lunch and to everyone who helped with the stewarding. Secretarles Report- Jess Palmer It has been another great year and my second year as secretary. It was great to be able to organise club clothing this year with our Wix flee$. I do still have some
peoples so ifyou are missing your jumper. please let me know. Particular highlight for me was the ball which was a great success, and we all survived organising I've loved being secretary again and am looking forward to next year, minus the stress. Adoption of Chairman's Report Treasurers Report- Tom Fairley Started 28.968.71 ended with 31.310.84 Chrislmas tree £422.89 round table £550 Christmas tree collection £920. Vallie's raised £54.90 ball 2487.42 Tendering show 10s1 £159.74 but we are waiting for £50 to come back on a deposit for equipment. The Cricket BBQ cost £690 but used CSH funding which we had £1248.06 including £200 from lasl year. £346 still owed £100 Maldon YFC and club clothing owed £198. Giving away a lot more this year £3000 to 4 charities. Committing to do more money lowards Tendering Famier club over next 4-5 year to total around £10,000 to go towards a building for Wix to use in the fuluie. Barclay has £1 and the savings account has been closed. Lloyds £31,247.45 and £37.89 cash. Adoption of Accounts Programs Report- Tamsin Fairley No report. New Members- Kalyia Dewing and Harrison Dove This year as a club we have has a brilliant year for new members with over 15 new members signed up which has over double from previous years. It's so nice to see how they have all been part of the Club the past year helping with events or playing on sports teams, attending regular meetings and brining fresh ideas to the club. It has been brilliant. Their feedback has been taken on board and hopefvlly next year will be even better.
Competitions- Cam Faidey and Joe May Good year for competitions. we did well. nationals well done to the boys unfortunately not the result we were looking for note for next year it to look to get a stronger team for public speaking. Presentation of cheques to chosen charities 3 were unable to attend and have all passed on their thanks. 4 young minds, Cry, St Elizabeth hospice , tendering hundred farmers club. run by farmers and friends form around the tendering area. Has been a huge part of club over the years and would be greal to would like lo thank club for donation great help towards running the show, want to build relationships wrth young famiers so would like to continue to support you as you support us. Any other buslness Emily county chair- Paula here is our wonderful lady in the offi. Rory, you have done a great job and donated a massive amount of money please keep up the sporting success. 28th September is county harvest festival. we ask that each club brings a box of local produce. We will meet at the golden fleece followed by the service. We have Chaimans party coming up it is October fest themed. Membership needs to be done by 29th September under 18's have to be signed up. Lots of new comps and events will be greal to see lots of people there. County have a training and development fund if you have Uni Courses or HCG speak to Imogen, Rory or myself money it is a benefit to you guys. Show meetings start next month would be great to have lots of people invoed. If you want anything from county this year, please let us know, would be great to be able to do what we can . County have very kindly after the success of show said that people who renew membership won't have to pay this year, so when you renew, you don't have to pay.
If you owe money for club clothing, you won't get your membership for free unless your club clothing is paid. 8:42
