Respectlve Responslbllttles of Trustees and Examlner The charity'5 trustees are responsible for the preparation of the account5. The charlvs trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 (the charities Act) and that an independent examination is needed. It Is my responsibility to: examine the accounts under section 145 of the Charitles Act, to follow the procedures laid down In the general Directions 8iven by the Charity Commission lunder section 14515llbl of the Charities Art, and to state whether particular matter5 have come to my attention. Basls on Independent Examlnerfs Siatemont My examination was carried out In accordance with 8eneral Dirertlons given by the Charlty Commission. An examlnation includes a review of the accountin8 records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. Accountin8 Polkles 1.1 Basls of Accountlni The financial statements have been prepared In accordance with Accounting and Reporting bv Charitie5: Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparin8 their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reportin8 Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021 Charities SORP 2015, the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland IFRS 1021 and the Charitie5 Act 2011. The charlty meets the definition of a public benefit entlty under FRS 102. Assets and liabilities are recognised at historical cost or transaction value unless otherwise stated in the financial stotements. 1.2 Golnl Conc•rn The trustees conslder the charity has adequate resources to continue In operation in the foreseeable future, including the next 12 months from the date of si8nin8 these financial statements. The trustees also consider that the exi5tin8 would allow the charity to meet its obligation and debt as they fall due and accordingly the financial statements have been prepared on a 80ing concern basis. 1.3 Incomlng Resources Unrestrlcted fund5 are those are received by way of donatlons at thelr own discretlon and the trustee5 are free to use these funds for any purpose in advancement of the charity and charitable objerts.
