The advancement of the education of Musllm children In accordance with the tenets and
doctrines of Sunni sect of Islam.
The relief of such members of the sect who are poor and needy.
Arrange prayerfacilities for the l¢xal Musllm communitv.
Structure of the Organlsatlon
The chaiitws trustees are responsible for management of the chartty. The trustees glve their time
freely and no ￿mUneratIon or any other financial benefrt5. The trustee5 meet tQ8ether as a
bodv on a reqular basi5 and are r@sponsIb￿ fhr m•kin8 d*cision in r*l4tion to runnins thc
organi5atton effertively. The trustees have set up a managing committee for the smooth running of
the charity and to maintsin fjts day to day finances.

INDEPENDENT EXMINER'S REPORT
TO THE TRUSTEESAND MEMBERS
We report on the financial statement5 of Islamic Centre Ed8ware for the year ended 31 March 2025,
which set out on pages 5 to 7.
Respectlve Responslbllttles of Trustees and Examlner
The charity'5 trustees are responsible for the preparation of the account5. The charlvs trustees
consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144 of the Charities Act 2011 (the
charities Act) and that an independent examination is needed.
It Is my responsibility to:
examine the accounts under section 145 of the Charitles Act,
to follow the procedures laid down In the general Directions 8iven by the Charity
Commission lunder section 14515llbl of the Charities Art, and
to state whether particular matter5 have come to my attention.
Basls on Independent Examlnerfs Siatemont
My examination was carried out In accordance with 8eneral Dirertlons given by the Charlty
Commission. An examlnation includes a review of the accountin8 records kept by the charity and a
comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any
unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from the trvstees concernlng
any Such matters. The pr¢Kedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be
requlred in an audlt, and consequentiy no oplnion is given as to whether the accounts present a
'true and fairf view and the report Is Ilmited to those matters set out in the Statement below.
Independent Examlnerfs Statement
In connection with my examination, no matters have come to my attention
l. Which gives me reasonable Cause to believe that In. any material respect, the requirements:
to keep accounting records In accordance with
sectlon 130 of the Charities Art: and
to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and comply with the
accounting requirements of the Charities Act

2. to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper
understanding of the accounts to be reached.

The existing trustees are responsible for appointment of new trustees but they consider
nominations only recommended by the local tommunity leaders as well as by the managing
committee. The trustees believe this method is very effertive way to build strong relationship
between the charity and the I￿al community where the charity operates.
Rlsk Management
The trustees have asse55ed the risks the charity faces and review these risks regularly at thelr
meetin8 and confim that Systems are in place in Order to manage these risks and necessary steps
Can be taken to manage the r15ks that have been identified.
FlnancSal Revlew and Investment Pollcy
The charity has no lon8-term investment. The charlvs cash are held in UK bank deposit accounts.
The centre's results are stated on pa8e 4. The centre achieved net incoming resources of £301,685
for the year ended 31 March 2025 and the trustees are pleased with the results.

l. Accountin8 Polkles
1.1 Basls of Accountlni
The financial statements have been prepared In accordance with Accounting and Reporting bv
Charitie5: Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparin8 their accounts in
accordance with the Financial Reportin8 Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland IFRS
1021 Charities SORP 2015, the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of
Ireland IFRS 1021 and the Charitie5 Act 2011.
The charlty meets the definition of a public benefit entlty under FRS 102. Assets and liabilities are
recognised at historical cost or transaction value unless otherwise stated in the financial stotements.
1.2 Golnl Conc•rn
The trustees conslder the charity has adequate resources to continue In operation in the foreseeable
future, including the next 12 months from the date of si8nin8 these financial statements. The
trustees also consider that the exi5tin8 would allow the charity to meet its obligation and debt as
they fall due and accordingly the financial statements have been prepared on a 80ing concern basis.
1.3 Incomlng Resources
Unrestrlcted fund5 are those are received by way of donatlons at thelr own discretlon and the
trustee5 are free to use these funds for any purpose in advancement of the charity and charitable
objerts.
Re5trirtèd funds are those to be used in accordance with speclfic restrictions Imposed by the donor
and for the purpose which donation was collected.
1.4 Resour¢e5 Expended
Liabilitles are recognlsed as soon a5 there is a legal or constructive obligation committinB the charity
to pay out resources. All expenditures are taken into consideration on an accruals basis and have
been classified under appropriate heading in the statement of financial activities.
1.5 Value Added Tax
Value added tax is not recoverable by the charity and charged against the category of the resources
expended lor which it was incurred.
1.6 Tan8Sble Flxed A$5ets and Depietlatlon
The freehold property is mainly land and valued at historlc cost and it is not depreciated as the
trustees consider depreciation charge is immaterial.
Fixtures and Equipment charged at 15%- straight line
