The Friends of the Old Vicarage School is an unincorporated association established to advance the education of the pupils of the Old Vicarage School by extending the amenities of the School by providing equipment or facilities additional to those which can or should be provided from the resources of the Governing body. |

| To meet its objectives the Friends of the Old Vicarage School undertake activities to: - Extend the amenities of the school by providing equipment or facilities - Foster more extended relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school - Engage in activities which support the school and advance the education of the pupils attending it These activities include fundraising and social events. As permitted by the “objects and Rules of the Association” the Friends of the Old Vicarage School can make donations to registered UK charities within limits detailed in the “Objects and Rules of Association”. The Friends of the Old Vicarage School also manage the collection, storage and re-sale of second-hand school uniform. This provides an affordable option for parents as well as reducing wastage. |

Reported Net Income is £9,455, which was used to purchase items for the school after the end of the 23/24 charity year.

During the 23/24 year, FOVS raised £41,754 primarily through fundraising events.

Costs of these fundraising activities, other overheads, contributions to the school and community events, totaled £32,298.

Year-end cash was £62,058.
-
Post year-end, the charity contributed £10,443 to the Old Vicarage School for activities taking place or items purchased during the 23/24 school year including, among other things, student trips to Legoland and the Lookout Discovery Centre.
