Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document
The charity’s main responsibility is to oversee the running of the playing fields by its principal users, namely the football, cricket and bowls clubs. In addition the charity is responsible for the provision of a children’s play area.

The trustees have overseen and supported a fundraising effort to improve the equipment in the children’s play area.
The trustees have continued to oversee the further development of the cricket club area of the playing field. This has enhanced the standing of the cricket club for the benefit of the local community.
The trustees have ensured that the equipment in the children’s play area continues to be inspected annually, maintained in accordance with the inspection report and is safe to use.

Section D Achievements and performance
With regard to the fundraising to replace and upgrade the children’s play Summary of the main area, during the year funds totalling £27,163.86 have been raised, achievements of the charity bringing the cumulative funds to £29,809.62. A further £10,000.00 has during the year been pledged to the fund. Fundraising will continue in 2022 with the aim being to raise a total of £120,000 to complete this project
