Section D Achievements and erformance p

Summary of the main With the reduction of Covid regulations and completed enhancements to achievements of the charity the building, the bookings at the Centre have increased steadily. By the during the year end of the year we had become busier than before the pandemic, with many old bookings returning and a welcome mix of community orientated new ones. Users are taking advantage of our improved facilities, which include a lift and improved lighting so both halls are now properly accessible and usable by all. Risk assessments and operating procedures continue to be updated and communicated to volunteers and users. Raffles and indoor sales provide a steady additional income and an opportunity for social interaction in the community. The two Electric Vehicle Charging points are increasingly well used providing a muchneeded local facility. Fitting a grant funded remote access system has freed up valuable volunteer time and increased the involvement of user groups. The Trustees reviewed the work required to run the Centre and instituted an appeal for more volunteer help to keep it running smoothly. Our hopes for the future reflect our long-standing constitutional aim of providing space for all in the local community to meet for a wide variety of activities whilst keeping hire charges to a minimum. The provision of such a facility is of huge importance in supporting the educational, social and emotional needs of Wiveliscombe and surrounding areas.
