The ongoing Covid-19 restrictions have affected both our indoor and outdoor meetings. However, some field trips have taken place within the Government guidelines. The AGM was postponed on two occasions but was finally held in August. Some Council Meetings had to be held over Zoom.

We have taken on the responsibility for recording all appropriate records on the MapMate database for the Isle of Wight Council. The overall aim is to provide a central point of contact for information required to further scientific study.

A visual records section has been setup so that digital photographs of natural history, archaeology and geology of the Isle of Wight may be recorded with the provinenance and stored for future reference.

We have a wide range of natural history, history, geological and archaeological books which we encourage our members to borrow.
