Recorded Music, Solihull on Stage and its youth Sectio Sosage Factory. Solihull on Stsge and Sosage Factory were previously affiliated members. beconiillg full members on I September 2015. Meetings and perfonnances of the various sections are open to the public, norn)ally on payment of an admission charge. Members pay a subscriptio part of which goes to the Society &$ capitation and the IMlaDce goes to the individual sections to which membets Subsbe. Activities of th¢ Charity During the year the activities of two perforn]ing arts sections, SolihuIl on Stage and Sosage Factory, have been restricted by the closure of the Core Theatre in Solihull. A number of tiOnS meet in Alderbrook School, under the teTms of a 10 year Partnership Agreement of 6 December 21X)2. &8 updated by fithT Agreements dated 6 December 2012 and 6 December 2017. Under the Agreements the School would be due to repay to the Society the £270,0(KJ which was origiually advanced under the 2002 AgreemenL if they termi without agreeing a further r¢n¢wal. This sum was treated as a grant when it was originally made in July 2(K)3, an(t Lx)nsequently, does It appear in the accounts of the &Kiety. FiDaDeial Review Reserves Policy The Society's policy is that unTestri¢trd funds which have not been designated for a specific use should be maintsined at a level of at least twelve months, expenditure. The TThteeS consider that Reserves at this level will ensure thaL in the event of a significant drop in fijnding, they will be able to continue the Charity's CUTrent activities while consideration is given to ways of raising additional funds. This level of fi]n(Ls h&8 been maiTthned throughout the year. and at the year end the funds are well in excess of this level. The Tn believe that future con)mitments will utilise Finan¢>al Position The Society gener a surplus of £4,571 in the year to 31 August 2025. (Surp1% of £11,289 for the year to 31 August 2024).
