The sole objective of the fund is to provide funds for the benefit of persons who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress, who are or have been members of staff of the Western Gazette Company Limited and their dependants, or who are dependants of the said staff.
Objects: A. To Pay Any Portion Of The Fund To Any Deserving Member Of The Provident Fund Who Shall, In Consequence Of Illness, Infirmity, Old Age Or Misfortune Require Monetary Assistance. B. In Any Case Of Special Hardship To Make A Grant From The Fund To The Widow Or Child, Or Children Of A Deceased Member. C. In Exceptional Cases To Make A Grant From The Fund To Any Relative Or Friend Of A Deceased Member If They Consider The Circumstances Of The Case Warrant Their So Doing.
