Friends Of Birchfield School undertake a range of fundraising activities for the school in order to provide new books, equipment, playground facilities and contributions towards school trips, among many other things.FoBS aim to support the school and parents in the activities which make any child's school life more enriching.

Objects: The Object Of Fobs Is To Advance The Education Of Pupils In The School And To Enhance The Development And Education Of Children Under Statutory School Age. In Furtherance Of This Object, The Association May:develop More Extended Relationships Between Staff, Parents And Others Associated With The School And The Pre-School.engage In Activities Which Support The School And The Pre-School And Advance The Education Of The Pupils Attending.provide And Assist In The Provision Of Such Facilities Or Items For Education At The School And The Pre-School (Not Provided From Statutory Funds) As The Committee In Consultation With The Governing Body Shall From Time To Time Determine.
