The Chair's 2023 annual summer holiday audit of ￿tering. ckning play equipment indicated the need for some minor replacement and replenishment of resources i, equipment in advance of The BrigHouse reopenillg for the academi¢ year 2023-24. The model of outsourcing the operation and rnaintenance of th¢ facility, taking into account5 Ènflaiion amd nom. higher utility bills means normal costs will be in the order of £35.000 P¢T annum. The trustees are satisfied that this model ensures suppliers with skills, knowledge and resources to impletnent changes in regulation and best prn¢tic¢ when it comes to safety are ensuring compliance with and advising on wlicies, leaving their role to oversee and monitor. Incoming resources All incoming resources are included iTk the statement of financial acrivities when the charity is enlitled to the income or is mor¢ likely than not to receive the Fesources and the amount can be quantified with reasonable accuracy. The following sp¢¢ific policies are applied to particular categoties of income.. Joining fees are not refiEndable and are payable when a school wishes to sub%ribe to use the facilities for residential experiences in order to deliver the curriculum. Annual subscriptions are payable ai the start of the year and cover the use of the BrigHouse for a specific nulnber of days over the academic year subject to the teTms and condiiions.
