Income was very low in this financial year and not enough to cover all essential overheads
The charity was able to continue due to two personal loans
A large legacy was due but was held up in a probate issue
At the time of writing this report the legacy is still on hold although the Chairman is chasing weekly

The kennels remained open and finances were monitored closely Many dogs were rescued during the year, boarded and re-homed Any plans to help grow the Charity are awaiting more funds to get projects started . The Charity was helped by an amazing team of volunteers whose work is invaluable to the running of the Charity.

The Chairman and the Trustees remain committed to ensuring the Charity remains viable and are very disappointed that a large legacy is stuck in an administration problem.

Post Covid the charity is still suffering as quality donations have not resumed which are needed to make a difference.
Cash flow has been very difficult and has been supported by several loans from the Chairman – most of which have been repaid and one from another individual.
