| 2020was adi5cult year | for everybody | involved | in running | |||||||||||
| events. Many ofour regular restrictions eased we were |
tenants cancelled, but as able to open the showground. |
The | ||||||||||||
| regular markets | resumed | and contributed | significantly | to | our | |||||||||
| revenue as did an occasional music | event. The autumn | |||||||||||||
| lockdown coincided with | the usual winter | slowdown | in | bookings. | ||||||||||
| The Society's long lease | tenant was | unable to pay rent | as they | |||||||||||
| were completely | shut | down for virtually | the whole year, | |||||||||||
| negotiations are |
continuing | regarding | the | outstanding | rents. | |||||||||
