|||2020was adi5cult year|||for everybody||||involved||in running||||
|||events. Many ofour regular <br>restrictions eased we were|||||tenants cancelled,<br>but as<br> able to open the showground.|||||||The|
|||regular markets|resumed|||and contributed||||significantly|||to|our|
|||revenue as did an occasional music||||||event. The autumn|||||||
|||lockdown coincided with|||the usual winter|||||slowdown||in|bookings.||
|||The Society's long lease|||tenant was|||unable to pay rent|||||as they||
|||were completely|shut|down for virtually|||||the whole year,||||||
|||negotiations<br>are|continuing||||regarding|the||outstanding||rents.|||
