The Trustees usually meet on eleven occasions during the year, but this may vary. 'I'he usual arrangiement is that quarterly meetings discuss policy, finance and administration and grants, with monthly meetings in between to consider grants only. No meeting is held in August. During the ycar, 69 households within thc charity's area of benefit wcrc given tinancial assistance; 115 liouseholds received Christmas cash gifts (with some overlap) totalling £22,150, and 15 studcnts received educational grants. Grants were also gFiven to primary schools within the charity's area of benefit, to help fund rcsAdential school trips for many low income families. The Charity pr()motes it5 activities in the area, and liaises with local schools and agencies such as Social Services, the Citizens Advice Bureau, the Communily Mental Health Trust, Housing Support Officers, other organisations whose contact with individudls <md f¢'unilies lead to appropriate referrals.
