Section D Achievements and performance

The Charity enjoyed a successful year. We had the first full year of Summary of the main operations of the new hall, which was both financially successful and achievements of the charity allowed us to make a greater positive impact on our Village. We are now during the year able to make the use of the excellent new facilities within the hall available for modest or nil cost to Village organisations. The income during the year allowed us to meet the normal running costs of the hall with a modest surplus of £7,200. We paid the final instalment of the cost of the new build project and attended to some other non recurring capital matters which came to a total of just under £72,000. The allowed us to end the year with around £270,000 of cash in the bank. The charity is in the strongest financial it has been for some time.
