Trustee5 The trustees who served during the year and at the date of this report are listed on page l. The statutory power of appointing new trustees and removing exi5tin8 trustees is exercised by the Sister Superior. Objerts and 3rtivitles of the tharfty The objects of the charity are to advance the religi1x and other charitable work carried on by or under the direttion of the Roman Catholic Order of the Sisters of Providence of Rouen. The Order is committed to the advancement of the Roman Catholic religion and currently part of the charitvs buildings are used by the Local Education Aythority IEast Sussex Cotsnty Council) as 3 voluntary aided Catholic Pfimary School known as Annecy Catholic Primary School. The charitys fund5 are also used to provide for the welfare of the nun5 who reside at the Shalom Con¥ent. In planning the artivities for the year. the ifustees kept in mind the Chanty Commission's gLsidance Dn public benefit. Investment power5 and pollry Undef the Trust Deed the charity has the power to make any investment which the trustees see fit, provided such investments are not speculative and are of a moral nature. Athlevements and performance The trustees consider that the perfomiance of the char¢ty this year has been 5at15factory vrith the funds available. Flnandal revlew The charity's reseryes are required and maintained at a level sufficient to ensure the provision of Catholic Primary School education and the weff3 of the nuns who reside at the Shalom Convent.
