Para 1.20 | The charity provides excellent facilities for the main beneficiary of the charity, the Parish Church of St Lawrence in Hungerford, Berkshire on those occasions when it wishes to use them for meetings and other church-related functions. At all other times the facilities (which comprise the Main Hall, the Small Hall alongside it, a private meeting room and a kitchen) are made available to local community clubs and organisations and to private individuals subject to payment of hire fees which are reviewed annually. No other local venue provides comparable facilities for such public events and functions. |

Financial Review

Review of the charity’s Para 1.21 The charity’s expenditure during the period
financial position at the end exceeded its income by £14,540.13 as
of the period shown in its accompanying accounts,
almost entirely due to the Covid pandemic
which had a major negative impact on hire
fees received. A credit balance in the
charity’s TSB bank account of £27,308.57
resulted from the closure of its Nationwide
Building Society account and the transfer of
its funds into the TSB account.
Statement explaining the Para 1.22 Reserves are held as security for future
policy for holding reserves expenditure. There are no reserves at the
stating why they are held present time, although arrangements are
being made to open a new deposit account
with Metrobank into which a sum of
perhaps £15,000 will be transferred in due
course
