Thls year BelllnBham Town Hall has been the mostviblant and busy with hirin85 and permanent booklng& The Hall is a popular ntre In the village once again. This was onty athleved by hard work and di118en of ourTown Hall commlttee. Every member ha5 his or area of atpertlse which works well. My special thanks to them for 8Mng up theirvery Wdluabje tlme. We must not forBet our amy of volunteers who do stirling work at our Blngo and jumble sales. The support we get from the generdl publlc to the fvnctions and especlalty the frlends of the Town Hall ts e$Ialty appredated. The Ubrary and the 5m811 room lett1 are stlll very happy wlth thelr premtses. The Ilbrary runs a warm room space In the Librdry and our communlty room, Teas, coffee and a biscult are avallable. We had two special attractlons thls year one the Illumlnated sheep representlng the Lindisfarne Gospels and the Platinum Jubilee tea party for the Community In the Town Hall. Maintenan. Repalrs and renewals have stsrted. The dOCktov has been repaintsd externally wlth a gold-wck on tw The stsge doors been renewed, maln doots repalred and palnted arHI all the front wlnd(yw sllls have been renewed and wlndows palrrted. Next phase wlll start as soon as the weather is sultable whlth Is to repalr doors and windows complete wlth paintin8 on the back of the Hall. Intsrnalty r*w sta8e curtalrrJ complete wlth slte screen curtains have been ordered will arrlve and be fftted In June. The ralllngs are next to be attended to thls requlres strfngent pknnln8 pennlsslon where we thlnk we cannot completety rer them. In the mean tlme we have 8lven the 80 ahead to repaint vA7at ts there to tidy up the fronL The garden agaln wlll be beauilful l am aswred. Plants are alrea(ty gruwlw in the green house.
