Re8POCtlvo rosponslbllftlos of trust•es and •xaminor As the charity's trustees of Southport and Birkdale Provident Society, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 20111.the 2011 Act'l. The charity's trust88s consider that an audit is not required for this year under Section 144 of the Charitiès Act 2011 (the Charities Act) and that an independent examlnatlon Is needed. It is my responsibility to= 8xamine the accounts under section 145 of the Charities Act, to follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission (under section 145(5Xb) of the Charities Act, and to state whether particular matters have come to our attention.
