The deed joined the charrty of Robert Comemlle and four charities administered together as the Drayton Almshouse Charity. The deed stated that the income of the charity of Robert Corneville is to be applied by the trustees for any charitable purposes for the general benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of Drayton for which provision is not made out of council tax, taxes or other public funds. The inGome of the Drayton Amshouse Chartty is to be applied by the tnjstees for the benefit of the charity. Revièw of the ear Dra on Almshouse Cha With the exception of a few weeks at the beginning of the year vthen one property was unoccupied, all of the Amshouses were occupied throughout the year. We continued to subscribe to The Aimshouse Association and Independent Housing Ombudsman Limited. We renewed the concessionary TV lin for those benefi¢iaries covered. Extraordina ir Fund The Extarordinary Repair Fund (ERF) is invested with BlackroGk. Chartties UK Bond Fund and Charities Equity Fund (fomierly Charinco and Charinshare investments). The income is accumulated, and 2025 Accounts include the accumulated income for that year. The income has been added to the original cost of the investments as per note 7. These accounts are prepared under the histOnLxI cost convention, are based on the Housing Corporation's Statement of Recommended Practsce for Registered Social Landlords and comply with the Accounting Requirements for Registered Social Landlords General Detenninalion 2006. The exemption from preparing a Cash Flow Ststement to comply with FRS1 has been used on the grounds that th8 charity is a small charity. (b) Flnan¢e The accounts have been prepared on the basis that the caprtal expenditure referred to in note 6 wll be grant aided, funded by loan cf met out of resetves. There was no addttional Catal Expendilure this year. (c} Mortoage8 Mortgage loans are advanced by the Housing Corporation under the tenns of a mortgage deed in respect of a housing scheme. Advances are available only in respect of a development which has been given approval for housing assooialion grant. Id) Hou¥ing ASSOCFation Grant IHAGI The above grant made by the Department of the Environment is utilised to reduce the amount of rnortgage loan in respect of an approved scheme to the amount which it is esb"mated can be serviced by the costs of the scheme in accordan wth instructions isssjed from time tr) ts.me by the Departsnent of the Environment. The grants are paid direclly to the Housing Corporation being the lending authority and are reflected in the accounts of the AssocAation only when payment has been made and the relevant mortgage loan redud. (el Housing Association Grant- Acqulsttion and Development Allowances Receivable The above allowances are detemined by the Departrnent of Environment and are advanced as mortgage loans. They are lo finance rtain internal administrative costs relating to the acquisition and development of housing land and buildings for approved schemes. Amounts equal to these allowan5 are added to housing land and buildings and are released to income and expenditure acwunt when they are receivable. lfj Flxed Assets- Housing Land and Bulldings Housing properties are stated at cost. Decorating is planned to take p*e every five year5 or when a property is vacated if earlier. li) Special Reserve (Non-Housing Actlvltlesl The special reserve arises from the ineorne of the Comeville Charity and the funds in the reserve are only available for charitable purposes for the general benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of Drayton for which provision is not made out of council taxes or other public funds.
