Activities
We provide welfare services to needy Merchant Navy seafarers and their dependants. This is achived by :-the provision of accommodation and support for those who are able to live independentley in Mariners Park Estate - the provision of residential,nursing and respite care in the Mariners Park Care Home- the provision of annual,one off grants and a caseworker service
Objects: The Relief Of Seafarers Or Former Seafarers And/or Their Dependants Who Are In Need, Hardship Or Distress, By (A) Providing Accommodation, And If Required, Residential Or Nursing Care With Preference To: Widows Of Seafarers Who Are Over 50 Years Of Age And In Need; And Seafarers Who Are Over 50 Years Of Age And In Need(b) Making Annual Pensions Or One-Off Grants Of Money (C) Providing Or Paying For Goods, Services Or Facilities(d) Making Grants Of Money To Other Persons / Bodies That Provide Goods, Services Or Facilities (E) Developing New And Enhanced Services By Research Or Otherwise, And Where Appropriate In Conjunction With Other Bodies / Persons
