The Weekly Malntenance Contribution v¥as raised by 4% in April 2023 with an intention to be consistent in future by reviewlng Contrlbutlons annually in April in line with comparable inflation In soclal houslng rents. 2.2 IMPROVEMEMf AND REPAIR OF ALMSHOUSES Work torÈnew￿p£r?de shower facilities in tsvo L7nvts Wds completed. Work on the iefurbishment of one kitchen was Initiated. Improvements to the ambien￿ of the area around the back entrance I main driveway were completed. A grant was made to Ysgol y Waun for the purchase of a camp kitchen 2.4 GOVERNANCE AND ACHIEVEMEf4TS Five new Trl￿e5 were appointed. There were three routine meetings during the year and two addltional meetin8s- one to welcome new Trustees, one to discuss strategic policies and an emergency session to discuss diseased trees. In addltlon to the successful recruitment and indurtion of five new Trustees. a number of Strategic adminlstrative goals were athleved- The drafting of a new Reserves Policy with speclfic reference to the use and management of the two DeyBnatÈd Rèserve Funds. o A thorough review of our Endowment Fund invesfment with Broker in ottendance by Zoom The re*valuatlon and re-launch of the Charivs 8rant-makin8 role o The launch of the Charftvs first website: vhvw.ellenbarnescharitabletru5t.or The further consolidation of all pollcy and procedural documents in a Charity Manual for the Trustees and the officers of the Charity. o Work was started on researthing and writing up the history of the Charity.
