Page I THE ASSOCIATION OF THE FRIENDS OF POLISH CHILDREN TRUSTEES REPORT FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2024 The trustees present the financial statements of the charity for the year ended 31 December 2024. The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standards for Smaller Entities, Part 15 the Companies Act 2006 and follow the recommendations in Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Statement of Recommended Practice. Objectives Of The Charity The object of the charity is to provide school facilities and grants for Polish youth and children. I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under Section 145 of the Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under Section 145(5){bl of the Act. The meiiibers have Iiot i'equired the coinpany to obtain an audit of its accounts for the y¢ar in question in accordallce with Section 476. The Trusteknb acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accountiiig records and the preparation of accounts. These accounts have been prepared in accordance with tlie provisions applicable to companies subject to the small conipaiiies regiiiie. Pag¢ 5 THE ASSOCIATION OF THE FRIENDS OF POLISH CHILDREN NOTES TO THE ACCOUNTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2024 Accounting Policies Basis Of Preparation Of Accounts The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention using the following accounting policies. Income Resources and Expenditure Income and expenditure is included on an accruals basis and is allocatted to the different categories of the Statement of Financial Activities on a basis which reflects the day to day operations of the charity. Cashflow The company has taken advantage of the exemption in Financial Reporting Standard No 1 from the requirement to produce a cash flow statement on the grounds that is a small company.
