TRUSTEES REPORT
FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2024
The trustees present the financial statements of the charity for the year ended
31 December 2024. The financial statements have been prepared in accordance
with the Financial Reporting Standards for Smaller Entities, Part 15 the Companies
Act 2006 and follow the recommendations in Accounting and Reporting by Charities:
Statement of Recommended Practice.
Objectives Of The Charity
The object of the charity is to provide school facilities and grants for Polish youth
and children.

on the accounts of 31 December 2024
I report to the charity trustees on my examination of the accounts of The Association of the Friends of
Polish Children {the Trust) for the year ended 31 December 2024
Respective responsibilities and basis of report
As the charity trustees of the Trust you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance
with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 {'the Act'i.
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under Section 145 of the Act and
in carrying out my examination I have followed all applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under Section 145(5){bl of the Act.
Independent Examiner's Statement, report and opinlon
Subject to the limitations upon the scope of my work as detailed above, in connection with my
examination, I can confirm that this is a report in respect of an examination carried out under section 145
of the Act and in accordance with any directions given by the Commission under subsection {5}(b) of that
section which are applicable, no matter has come to my attention in connection with my examination which
gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements
(il to keep accounting records in accordance with section 130 of the Act.,
{ii> to prepare financial statements which accord with the accounting records and comply with the
accounting requirements of the Act and.,
{iii} that the financial statements be prepared in accordance with the methods and principles set out in the
Statement of Recommended Practice - Accounting and Reporting by Charities have not been met.,

For the y¢ar ended 31 Deceniber 2024 the charity was entitled to exemption from audit und¢r section 477 of the
c.ompanies Act 2006 relating to small companies.
The Trustees responsibilities.
The meiiibers have Iiot i'equired the coinpany to obtain an audit of its accounts for the y¢ar in question in accordallce
with Section 476.
The Trusteknb acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to
accountiiig records and the preparation of accounts.
These accounts have been prepared in accordance with tlie provisions applicable to companies subject to the small
conipaiiies regiiiie.
The accounts were approved by the board on the 17 April 2025 and signed on its behalf.

Accounting Policies
Basis Of Preparation Of Accounts
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention using the following
accounting policies.
Income Resources and Expenditure
Income and expenditure is included on an accruals basis and is allocatted to the different
categories of the Statement of Financial Activities on a basis which reflects the day to day
operations of the charity.
Cashflow
The company has taken advantage of the exemption in Financial Reporting Standard No 1
from the requirement to produce a cash flow statement on the grounds that is a small
company.
