Promotion of the moral, social and intellectual well-being and the rational recreation of and generally for the benefit of the public and particularly the inhabitants of Abersoch and its neighbourhood without regard to their religious or political opinions.

Trustee support and help promote all bookings for the Hall’s facilities for regular and new users. We also encourage fresh activities to improve and broaden the community’s leisure and educational choices. Regular activities continue – snooker, indoor bowling, card playing, bridge, whist drive, yoga, flow dancing, camera club, computer tuition, arts and crafts fairs, cultural concerts, meetings, Welsh classes for learners, local school uses the hall for PE and school concerts, WI meetings, craft, art and quilting classes, Merched Y Wawr, Heritage Society exhibition and storage facilities, circuit training, Junior fitness club, monthly meeting place for tea/coffee,Local eisteddfodau, Christmas celebrations, polling station at election times and MP/Local Councillor surgeries.

Section E Financial review
Brief statement of the charity’s policy on reserves
Sums of money belonging to the charity and not required for immediate use are placed on deposit to earn interest. We aim to hold an amount of money in reserve at the financial year end for any major repairs which could occur to an ageing building.

The charity’s principal source of funds is the car parking fees raised seasonally between April and September. There is no fundraising and no charges are made for the use of the facilities for local events unless the hirer intends to profit from it. The hall hire fees shown in the accounts are voluntary donations by various societies and users.
We are pleased to report that once again the Hall ends this year in a sound financial position although there were no charges for car parking during the covid pandemic and no use was made of the building.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended DD / MM / YYYY 31/03/2021 .
- Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent I have completed my examination.
