The Fund provides relief to serving C-of-E clergy in financial need. It does not consider individual applications but apportions its annual charitable income among the 42 dioceses of the C-of-E using an agreed formula. Each diocese applies the Fund's grant on a confidential basis through its discretionary funds.

Objects: To Impress Upon All Members Of The Church Of England The Clearly Defined Christian Duty Of Contributing Towards The Support Of The Clergy And To Generally To Promote The Further Sustentation Of The Clergy
