Support Network Is also a Company Llmlted by Guarantee,. and 15 registered wlth Companles House as company number 130981. GOVeRNA14CE AND MANAGEMENT OF THE CHARITY Support Network Is a charltable Company limited by guarantee, establlshed under Memorandum of Assoclatlon, now revlsed as Artlcles of AssoclJtlon (January 2020) whlch sets out the objerts and powèrs of the charltable company and all oovemance provlslons relatlng to the same. A copy of the current verslon of the Artlcles of Associatlon are flled wlth both the ChJrlty Commlsslon for England and Wales and at Companles House. The Dlrectors ol the company are also chadty Trustees for the purposes ot chadty law. The governlng body of Support Network Is the Trustee Board, and the Trustees are Jolntly responslble for It5 governance. Support Network's charitable objecuves are the rellel and preventlon of poverty. Thls role has been revlewed and reframed as the Operations & Services Direttor. In September 2024 our Finance Manager retSred. Slnce that time we have redlstrrbuted those tasks wlthln that role amongst the existing tearn andlor extemal freelance specialists. The organlsatlon will seek to recruit new staff durlng 2026, followlng a review of current and antlclpated future personnel needs. especlally In the realm of communications and digltal presence.

Volunteers assist with casework through makn.ng home visits andlor telephone or onllne calls for flnancial verification or antl-lonellness purposes, plus our International volunteers act as In￿untry representotives to provlde a wlder context to member pplicatlons. Volunteers are thereby Involved wlth the majority of the welfare Interyentions and casework undertaken by the organlsation. They are accordingly a malnstay of Support Network's artivitles and a prlnclpal polnt of contact with new applbcants and existing beneficlarfes, As presently constit(Jted, Support Network could not operate wlthout them. Purely In terms of hours of casework. Support Network Y4ould require at least two extra full-tlme staff If there were no volunteers.
