Activities

To promote an interest in all aspects of alpine plants, their cultivation in rock gardens and plant conservation in natural habitats. We are a membership organisation, publish a quarterly Journal for members, operate a seed exchange, make awards available for horticultural study, operate botanical tours for members to see plants in their natural habitats and publish alpine plant information.

Objects: To Further The Knowledge Of Alpine Plants; To Gather And Disseminate Particulars Of Their Cultivation And Conditions Under Which They Grow In Nature; To Hold Sows Of Alpine Plants And Give Advice Concerning Them; To Arrange Tours And Visits; To Organise Meetings; And Generally To Undertake In Activities That Shall Be Consistent With The Purpose For Which The Society Is Constituted.
