This year no grants were made. FINANCIAL REVIEW Investment pollcy and objactlves There are no reslrictlons on the Soclevs power lo Invest but the Soclety conllnues to be satlsfled that the most approprlale policy for investing their funds are the specialised unit trusts designed lor the charity sector. The Society continues to invest in Charibond Charities Narrower Range Common Fund and the Equities Investment Fund for Charities ICharibond}. Thelr portfolio continues to be managed by M&G Securities Limited. The Council consid8rs th8 SoGiely's Investments to b8 managed judiciously by M&G in Ihe face ol the conlinu8d 8conomic impact ol Geopolitical events in the world. It is anticipated that th8 Flxed Income will provide some stability, whilst It Is hoped that the Shar8s will continue to recover any losi ground over time.
