THE ROBERT COCKS ALMHOUSES TrUST, OLD BUCKENHAM NOTES TO THE ACCOUNTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2023 1 The Trust owns freehold propety, in the name of the Official Custodian for Chartttes. comprising land and a terrace of ten, one bedroomed Almshouses at Old Buckenham Norfolk. This asset is not recognised on the balan sheet. The current Insuran value of the freehold ro is estimated at £1 m 2 Investments held in the name of the Offical Truste for Charib'es: As at 31 December 2023 90,925 income shares in M&G Charity Mutti Asset Fund (market value £81.669) As at 31 December 2022 90.925 income shares in Nats'onal Association of Almshouses common investment fund (market value £80,296) During 2023, there have been no changes to the number of shares we hold in the M&G Charity Multi Asset Fund. Markets have been starting to increase with interest rates rising. Dividend payments have increased and we conts'nue to consider this portfolio a suitable haven for our capital. 3 The trust saw some change in trustees within 2023, this has brought a review in the structure and a look at policies and procedures. The Trust is looking to convert to a CIO within 2024. This will enable the roof project to commen in 2025. which would be a significant investment in the Alms houses. 4 The accounts have been prepared on a receipts and payments basis effects've from 2012.
