Activities

The College of St. Barnabas was established in 1895 to provide retirement homes for Anglican Clergy, Church Workers, Readers licensed by a Bishop and their wives and widows. In 2005 those in communion with Church of England are included. There is also a care wing for those requiring care and medical support. The full objectives of the Charity can be found in the Memorandum of Association.

Objects: (A) To Provide Permanent Homes For Those Detailed In Sub-Paragraph (D) Who Are Retired From Work Or Who Are Incapacitated By Disability, Disease Or Other Causes On The Understanding That The First Priority Should Always Be Given To Retired Clergy And Then Their Spouses, Widows Or Widowers (See Clause 3 For Further Objects)
