It Does Matter educates the public about non-contact sexual offences through national awareness programmes, evidence-based resources and training. We work across the UK with communities and stakeholder partners to improve understanding, empower safe reporting and promote safer behaviours.

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are, For The Public Benefit:(a) To Advance Education In Relation To Non-Contact Sexual Offences, Their Impact, Lawful Reporting Pathways, And The Prevention Of Violence Against Women And Girls;(b) To Prevent Crime And Promote Public Safety By Increasing Public Understanding Of Non-Contact Sexual Offences And Supporting Informed And Constructive Engagement With The Police And Other Relevant Authorities; And(c) To Advance Good Citizenship By Promoting Safe, Lawful And Responsible Behaviour.in Furtherance Of These Objects, The CIO May Develop And Provide Balanced, Evidence-Based Information, Educational Materials, Training, Awareness Campaigns And Community Initiatives For The Benefit Of Children, Young People, Adults And Communities In The United Kingdom And The British Isles.
