Activities

Al Arkani is a Rohingya-led community organisation inspired by Arakan, our ancestral homeland. Founded by families who settled in the UK, we preserve our heritage, strengthen community ties and support those in need. Since 2019, we have united hundreds through cultural, faith and charitable events and are working to establish our first Masjid and Community Centre.

Objects: The Objects Of The Organisation Are:? The Object Of The CIO Is The Relief In Need Due To Poverty Via The Provision Of Food Aid Packages, Signposting To Medical Services, Hosting Community Events, And Language Training. Nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The CIO For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With Section 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 And Section 2 Of The Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008.
