- Weekly orchestral rehearsals during university term time, conducted by a professional Musical Director, which are free to attend and open to all- Holding concerts three times a year that are free and open to all, with a relaxed afternoon concert and a more formal evening concert- Providing occasional workshop events, extending beyond the normal membership of the orchestra

Objects: (1) To Advance, Improve, Develop And Maintain Public Education In, And Appreciation Of, The Art And Science Of Music In All Its Aspects By Any Means The Trustees See Fit, Including Through The Presentation Of Public Events. (2) To Provide Facilities That Promote The Practice Or Enjoyment Of The Art And Science Of Music For Recreation Or Other Leisure Time Occupation And To Make Those Facilities Available, In The Interest Of Social Welfare, To Individuals Who Have Need Of Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disablement, Financial Hardship Or Social And Economic Circumstances Or For The Public At Large With The Object Of Improving Conditions Of Life.(3) For The Public Benefit, To Further Such Exclusively Charitable Purposes According To The Laws Of England And Wales As The Trustees Think Fit By Making Grants To Organisations.
