Activities

Plymouth City Pastors are Christians from local Churches. We walk the streets of Plymouth on Saturday night 10pm to 4am. We aim by our presence to reduce the fear of crime, bring a listening ear to those that want to talk and signpost folk to agencies for assistance. We carry first aid, water and flip flops. We work in partnership with Devon and Cornwall Police and Plymouth City Council.

Objects: (a) To Promote, And Support, The Inhabitants Of Plymouth And The Surrounding Area And Suchother Local Communities And In Such Other Parts Of The United Kingdom Or The World As Thetrustees May From Time To Time Think Fit, To Advance The Christian Faith In Accordance With Thestatement Of Christian Beliefs Appearing In The Schedule Hereto In Plymouth And Surroundingdistricts And In Such Other Parts Of The United Kingdom Or The World As The Trustees May From Timeto Time Think Fit And To Fulfil Such Other Purposes Which Are Exclusively Charitable According To Thelaw Of England And Wales.(b) To Relieve Sickness And Financial Hardship And To Promote And Preserve Good Health By Theprovision Of Funds, Goods, Or Services Of Any Kind Including Through The Provision Of Counsellingand Support In Plymouth And Surrounding Districts And In Such Other Parts Of The United Kingdomor The World As The Trustees May From Time To Time Think Fit.(c) To Advance Education In Accordance With Christian Principles By Such Means As The Trusteesmay Think Appropriate Including But Not So As To Limit The Generality Of The Foregoing In The Areasof Health Citizenship Community Development Human Rights Conflict Resolution And The Promotionof Religious And Racial Harmony In Plymouth And Surrounding Districts And In Such Other Parts Ofthe United Kingdom Or The World As The Trustees May From Time To Time Think Fit.
