Activities

Ground skills with horses, leading, grooming, natural horsemanship tasks, leading over poles/ obstacles, circles on with and without rope/at liberty. Simulations of the tasks before they are performed with the horses. Talking about body awareness and development of core skills.

Objects: The Object Of The CIO Is:to Relieve The Needs Of Children Aged 8 And Over And Adults In Wiltshire/dorset And Surrounding Areas Who Are Experiencing (Whether Diagnosed Or Undiagnosed) Mental, Emotional, Or Sensory Challenges, Disorders, Or Illnesses, And/or Behavioural Difficulties Who Are Not Making Progress With Mainstream Talking Therapies, Through:(a) The Provision Of Equine-Assisted Therapy Programmes Designed To Promote Their Health Andwellbeing And Rehabilitation And To Support Them To Engage Fully In Education, Training Or Work Through The Development Of Core Skills;(b) Advancing The Education Of Those Supporting Such People; (C) Improving Life Skills Through Interaction With Horses Using Natural Horsemanship And Equine Psychology.
