The Paul Hobden Trust works to widen access to the built environment professions of architecture, planning and property. Through scholarships, bursaries, internships and related initiatives, the Trust supports individuals in pursuing education and early career opportunities, helping to reduce barriers and encourage broader participation in these fields.

Objects: The Charity’s Objects (“Objects”) Are Specifically Restricted To The Following:to Advance Education For The Public Benefit In Such Parts Of The UK As The Trustees Shall Fromtime To Time Decide In The Subjects Of Architecture, Planning And Surveying, Through The Awardof Grants To:a. Support Students Who Demonstrate Academic Ability And Potential, And Who May Facefinancial, Social, Or Other Barriers To Higher Education, To Undertake Courses Of Studyaccredited By A Relevant Professional Body In Architecture, Planning Or Surveying;b. Support Such Students To Undertake Internships Or Practical Experience Opportunitiesin Architecture, Planning Or Surveying With Organisations Holding A Relevant Professional Accreditation;c. Support Organisations, Including Accredited Professional Bodies, Educational Institutions Or Charities, Who Are Undertaking Research Into Architecture, Planning And Surveying, The Useful Results Of Which Will Be Published For The Public Benefit.
