Activities

To preserve, enhance and protect the church of St Andrew Tangier as a place of worship assisting with the maintenance, repair and beautification of the church and its ornaments and chattels. To provide or add to the expenses and/or the wages of the chaplain who conducts divine service there. To maintain the churchyard, its graves and a residence occupied by the chaplain.

Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are: (1) To Preserve, Enhance And Protect The Church Of St Andrew Tangier (?The Church?) As A Place Of Anglican Worship Including By (A) Assisting With The Maintenance, Repair, Restoration, Improvement And Beautification Of The Church And Its Fixtures, Fittings, Monuments, Glass, Furniture, Ornaments And Chattels; And (B) The Provision, Or Augmentation, Of The Emolument Of Or Contributing To The Expenses Incurred By Or On Behalf Of Any Chaplain Who Preaches Or Conducts Divine Service Within The Church Or Otherwise In The Performance Of The Duties Of His Or Her Office.(2) The Maintenance Of The Churchyard Of The Church Including The Graves And Gravestones Therein And The Maintenance And Support Of Any Residence Occupied By The Chaplain.
