What We Do...We organise donation drives for vulnerable residents.We collaborate with local charities to coordinate aid and reduce duplication.We share important community updates.We run community-led events, e.g. Christmas Living Advent Calendar, supported by local businesses and residents.We are now onto the next steps of networking with community workshops.
Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:to Promote For The Benefit Of Inhabitants Of The Isle Of Sheppey, Kent, The Following Charitable Purposes:(1) The Relief Of Poverty;(2) The Preservation And Protection Of Good Health;(3) To Provide Or Assist In The Provision Of Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation Or Other Leisure Time Occupation Of Individuals Who Have Need Of Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disability, Financial Hardship Or Social Circumstances With The Object Of Improving Their Conditions Of Life.(4) Such Other Charitable Purposes Which May Be Charitable According To The Law Of England And Wales As The Trustees See Fit From Time To Time.
