Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are The Relief Of Those In Need By Reason Of Either Being Currently In Care Or Who Have Been In Care, In Particular By:1) Advocating For The Rights And Needs Of Individuals Currently In Care And Those Who Have Aged Out Of The Care System, Ensuring Their Voices Are Heard And Considered In Policy-Making And Service Provision2) Providing A Range Of Support Services, Including Emotional, Educational, And Practical Assistance, To Individuals In Care Or Who Have Been In Care, Facilitating Their Personal Development And Well-Being3) Establishing Mentorship Programmes That Connect Individuals In Care With Trained Mentors Who Can Provide Guidance, Encouragement, And Support In Navigating Challenges Associated With Being In Or Transitioning Out Of The Care System4) Creating A Supportive Community Where Individuals In Care And Care Leavers Can Connect, Share Experiences, And Build Friendships, Reducing Isolation And Fostering A Sense Of Belonging5) Raising Public Awareness About The Challenges Faced By Individuals In Care And Care Leavers Through Community Outreach, Educational Programs, And Campaigns, Promoting Understanding And Empathy Within Society.6) Conducting Research And Gathering Data On The Experiences Of Individuals In Care, Using This Information To Inform Best Practices, Improve Services, And Influence Policy Decisions That Affect Their Lives.7) Providing Training And Resources For Professionals Working With Individuals In Care, Equipping Them With The Skills And Knowledge Needed To Offer Effective Support And Make A Positive Impact In The Lives Of Those They Serve8) Collaborating With Local Authorities, Social Services, And Other Charities To Enhance The Support Network Available To Individuals In Care And Care Leavers, Promoting Integrated And Comprehensive Service Delivery9) Facilitating Access To Educational, Vocational, And Personal Development Opportunities For Individuals In Care Or Who Have Been In Care, Empowering Them To Achieve Their Full Potential And Lead Fulfilling Lives10) Such Other Means As The Trustees May From Time To Time Decide.
