Activities
The Churches' Ministerial Counselling Service provides confidential support to ministers (and adults in their immediate households) through short-term, professional counselling in the UK; and counselling for adults in ministry-related roles (and for adults in their households), in organisations that are members of CMCS. CMCS also offers CPD training for qualified counsellors on related themes.
Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are To Advance The Christian Faith For The Public Benefit By:a) The Provision Of A Professional Counselling Service For Christian Ministers, Adult Members Of Their Household, And Such Other Beneficiaries As The Trustees Shall Determine Which Promotes And Protect Their Physical, Spiritual And Mental Health; B) The Provision Of Training For Counsellors In Topics That Will Support The Church Leadership And Cover Issues That May Arise In A Faith Context.
