Activities
Our 300 plus volunteers spend time, in mainly, primary schools hearing children read twice a week for 10 to 15 minutes at a time.This creates a discussion which in turn improves social and communication skills and builds confidence.This confidence is vital and we help give these children the building blocks of self belief.
Objects: For The Public Benefit, To Advance The Education Of Children And Young People In Primary And Secondary Education In Gloucestershire, With A Focus In Communities Which Literacy Levels Are Low, Through The Provision Of Trained Volunteers In Schools And Other Learning Environments To Support With Basic Literacy And Oracy.
