Activities
Hoodex Charity works across Tyneside from our office in North Shields.We support young people at risk of offending, reoffending or exploitation and work through our mentoring programmes, and also offer a range of sporting and adventure activities to help young people turn their lives round and achieve a better life & future.We primarily work with 16-19 yrs but also support YP from 14-22 yrs
Objects: To Advance In Life And Relieve The Needs Of Young People Aged 11- 25 In Tyne And Wear, In Particular Those With Emotional And Mental Health Needs, Those At Risk Of Offending/reoffending, Those With Disabilities And Additional Learning Needs Or Those Leaving Care By:a) Providing Support And Activities Which Develop Their Skills, Capacities And Capabilities To Enable Them To Participate On Society As Independent, Mature And Responsible Individuals;b) Advancing Education;c) Relieving Unemployment;d) Providing Recreational And Leisure Time Activity In The Interests Of Social Welfare For People Who Have Been Disadvantaged By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disability, Poverty Or Social And Economic Circumstances With A View To Improving The Conditions Of Life Of Such Persons.
